Rogers Wireless – Vice President, M2M

Mansell Nelson is Vice President, M2M (Machine to Machine) for Rogers Wireless, where he is responsible for the M2M business and partnership programs within the wireless community.

Rogers Communications is a diversified Canadian communications and media company providing wireless, cable and media services to consumers and businesses. Rogers Wireless is Canada’s largest wireless voice and data communications services provider and the country’s only carrier operating GPRS/EDGE and HSPA+ networks. Rogers has an exclusive arrangement with Jasper Wireless to assist customers in easily implementing M2M/connected devices in Canada.

Mr. Nelson first joined Rogers in January of 2001 to lead the newly-created Interactive Mobile Services division of Rogers Wireless and has been involved in all facets of wireless data. Previously, Mr. Nelson held senior business development roles at Look Communications and TELUS Corp. in Vancouver, BC.

Mr. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
